
Researcher biography
Dr Peter Westoby spent 20 years in youth, community and organisation development practice prior to entering academia. He's worked in Australia, India, the Philippines, PNG, South Africa and Uganda. He lives in Brisbane, Australia, but feels more than at home in South Africa and the UK particularly. His research and practice interests are in community development, community-based education-training, dialogue theory and practice, forced migration studies, peace and conflict studies, and the social/solidarity economy. He loves bush walking, hanging out in independent bookshops, and good coffee.
