Researcher biography

Franziska is a recent graduate of Chemical Engineering and Mathematics at The University of Queensland. Alongside her degree she worked at Energy Developments Ltd on remote and distributed clean energy, and has volunteered with Engineers Without Borders (Australia) for over 5 years, with local and international involvement. 

Her PhD research explores development paradigms and technology dissemination approaches present in the water, sanitation and energy sectors. She focuses on the strategies that organisations and communities create to establish adoption pathways for distributed technologies, in unique and challenging environments across Southeast Asia.
